I kept quiet and suffered silently as my young Italian hope was popped for EPO last week. The most exciting climber to hit the pro peloton since Marco Pantani, an cheater... you know it just bums me out. I wish they would have caught him at a different time... not during the tour. It really is a shame, because EPO or no EPO the kid was the Cavendish of climbing. I still think he is a bad ass, but his fall from grace is a shame.
But its not him alone that prompted the midnight entry... After today's stage 16 my Chipotle Burrito Hope Christian Vande Velde got dropped in the final climb and lost a grip of time in a crash trying to get back on.
Tomorrow will be a day from hell and will definitely be a stage where anything can happen... The greatest thing that could happened tomorrow is Damiano Cunego rides to win the top of the Alpe D'Huez with the 10 to 15 mins he needs to win the tour.
I'm just not a big Cadel Evans fan...
