Its getting colder, the economy is imploding, days are shorter, and everyone is having holiday food parties. Bottom Line: I AM GETTING FAT. As the another moderate winter starts to take hold in CA, I find myself complaining already. A 60degree morning has me cringing, while the pop in gas prices has me driving over riding.
What the hell happens to us in the winter. All of a sudden have lost the will to get up in the morning and head out for my ride. Instead of getting to bed early and planning the weekend ride, I stay up late and focus on a post-booze recovery system. It really is a shame and it has already cost me an additional 10lbs on the scale.
I can only hope that I can muster my energy and put setback aside and get riding again. Don't want to spend the off-season like Jan and end up crashed out in a bakery on ecstasy. Only to scramble to get the extra kilo's off by crash dieting.
Ahhh... these are the ramblings of a weight obsessed cyclist... it is so, so sad
